The Musa lamps are part of the Musa Series, designed by Stockholm based studio, Note Design Studio. They were created for the Spanish brand Vibia, that explores the delicacy of nature in an expression of light. The lamps generate an interaction between the delicate illumination created by the shade made of hand blown opal glass and the indirect surround lighting reflected off adjacent surfaces, balancing each other out like Ying and Yang. The organic shape of the lamp also brings the shape of an oyster to mind, it’s delicate shell with a glowing pearl at its edge make for a warm and ambient light.
