Wintercheck Factory, being Kristen Wentrcek and Andrew Zebulon Williams, is a design studio that develops an in-house furniture line in Brooklyn, New York. They have an inspiring vision on design and furniture, but also lighting. Their industrial, yet sophisticated take on lighting-design results in one of the most refreshing designs we have seen in recent years. By experimenting with volumes, shapes and sizes, they create abstract lighting sculptures, rather than ‘lamps’. Most significantly, the combination between traditional, industrial materials and unconventional materials creates their unique, post-modern signature.
